The design is classic but the fit is contemporary, making this a great everyday shoe. Based on ONITSUKA TIGER's original mid-top basketball shoe which came out in 1950, the OK BASKETBALL MT shoe closely matches it in design. The form, texture of the upper, stitching, iconic metal eyelets and rubber patch on the upper side are all taken from that first model. The ONITSUKA TIGER logo on the original shoe's tongue also makes a reappearance in this new version. But we've added some contemporary touches with the fit of the shoe, which has a molded inner sole for cushioning. It's a true, updated classic.
