The iconic MEXICO 66 model was born in 1966 and debuted at the 1968 Olympic games pretrials in Mexico with a premium white leather, stitched with a red and blue ASICS Stripe design.
Today, the classic runner has been reawakened and remains the most popular shoe in the ONITSUKA TIGER collection.
This MEXICO 66 model is part of our eco-concept collection, made with environmentally-friendly materials. It features uppers with environmentally-friendly chrome-free leather that is processed without the use of migratory metals so the leather is safe and biodegradable at the end of it's lifespan.
